AI giants eye Gaza profits as Palantir and Dataminr exploit genocide from US military hub in Israel

Since mid-October, roughly 200 US military personnel have operated out of a large warehouse in southern Israel, near the northern tip of Gaza. Private US surveillance firms are now part of the post-war framework. A seating chart obtained by +972 Magazine shows a “Maven Field Service Representative” at the CMCC. Maven, developed by Palantir, collects and analyzes data from satellites, drones, and communications to accelerate US military operations, including airstrikes.

Palantir has also partnered with Israel’s military since January 2024 and continues to expand its presence in Tel Aviv. Another US company, Dataminr, was also present at the CMCC, using AI to track social media activity for real-time intelligence.

The presence of Palantir and Dataminr indicates that Israel’s control over Gaza will remain deeply entrenched. AI-powered surveillance and weapons systems will support both Israeli forces and a planned International Stabilization Force overseen by the US.

Data from these platforms can map civilian connections, monitor communications, and assist in targeting operations. +972 Magazine notes that similar tools have already contributed to widespread surveillance and targeted strikes, raising concerns over a new, AI-driven model of control.
