Turkiye, Iran, and Afghanistan have signed a memorandum of understanding to boost railway cooperation and strengthen regional transport integration. The trilateral agreement aims to improve existing infrastructure, streamline border procedures, and build a reliable corridor linking the three countries to enhance trade and connectivity.
The planned route is expected to facilitate smoother freight movement between South Asia, West Asia, and Europe, reinforcing Turkiye’s strategic role as a trade bridge.
